Jak Vapor is a singer/songwriter/producer from Donegal, Ireland. He began to learn his trade as a musician at the tender age of 13 when he was introduced to the guitar and was soon thrown by the scruff of the neck into the music industry.

In 2006, he won the first of his 4 regional "battle of the bands" competitions with his first band "El Diablo". He soon went on to form and collaborate with several other bands and eventually settled into a solo project.

In 2009, he released his first E.P "Rhymes Riddle and Rhythm" at the age of 17.  The E.P was recorded, tracked, produced and performed entirely by himself, including all the instruments. The E.P garnered some local success and gave him a taste of songwriting. In 2012, he and his then band "turbulent EDDY' wrote and recorded a 5-track E.P entitled "All Around You". The E.P gained several positive reviews, some national radio play, a mini national tour and earned the band support slots with "Hermitage Green", "Mojo Gogo" and "East 17".  In 2013, he released another single under the alias "Seahorse" entitled 'Propane Party' which gained some local traction with regional radio stations.

Playing in various cover and wedding bands for over a decade, he honed his skills as a musician, whilst also writing his own music. He attended BIMM (Brighton Institute of Modern Music) in 2013 to study a four-year-degree in commercial modern music and majoring in songwriting under various esteemed names in the Irish music industry such as Cathy Davey, Jimmy Smyth, Joe Wall (The Stunning, The Walls), Ollie Cole, Cormac Curran (Villagers), Ró Yourell (Delorentos), Mik Pyro (Republic Of Loose), Michael Moloney (Director), Ann-Marie Shields (Manager, My Bloody Valentine), Mick Roe (Manager, All Tvvins) and Alan Cullivan (Manager, The Thrills, And So I watch You From Afar)

In 2013/14, his journey took him to the semi-finals of The Voice Of Ireland in 2014 under mentor Kian Egan. Making no less than 6 live Television appearances, he has performed to over 1.7 million viewers nationwide and his performances have over 100,000 view on YouTube.

Currently in his final year studying in BIMM Dublin, he continues to write and produce his own music. Catch him a show soon.
